Deadline to pre-register for the NFB of Kentucky State Convention: October 9th.
The cost of pre-registration is $15.
Please note that on-site registration will be $20 and meals will not be available for on-site registration.

We need funds to hold our annual convention, to send our delegation to represent us in Washington DC in January to advocate for legislation that improves the lives of blind individuals and to assist our members to attend the annual convention of the National Federation of the Blind each summer. 2026 NFB of Kentucky State Convention Pre-Agenda
Friday, October 23
The 79th state convention of the National Federation of the Blind of Kentucky kicks-off Friday morning with the 15th annual Technology Assistance Division (TAD) Symposium. So, for all those techies, come and find out what is new on the horizon in the tech world. During the symposium, TAD will also hold its annual business meeting.
Boxed lunches are available to purchase for $15 when you pre-register for the convention.

The Sports and Recreation Group is planning some fun-filled activities for the afternoon, so you will not want to miss what they have in store for you
Prior to our Friday evening social, the Resolutions Committee invites you to attend the Resolutions Committee meeting to preview the issues of concern that will be brought before the general assembly during the business meeting on Sunday morning for consideration of adoption.
Finally, on Friday evening, come join us for a fun-filled social with music, festivities and fun. Most importantly, though, this is a time to connect with old friends and meet new ones. As a part of this year's Friday evening social. The At- Large Chapter will be hosting a dance marathon as a fundraiser for the coast-to-coast movement challenge.
Saturday is filled with our morning and afternoon general sessions and we will hear some wonderful presentations. Boxed lunches are available for $15 on Saturday as well. So, order a boxed lunch when you pre-register and enjoy a fun and relaxing lunch time with old and new friends.
On Saturday evening join us for our annual NFB of Kentucky banquet. This is the highlight of the convention. Hear the banquet address given by our national representative, John Parè, Director of Advocacy and Policy for the National Federation of the Blind. Celebrate with individuals who are honored with prestigious NFB of Kentucky Awards and celebrate the accomplishments of our NFB of Kentucky Scholarship winners. Your cost for the banquet is $35 per person.
Sunday morning is the most important part of our convention. This is our annual NFB of Kentucky business meeting. We will hear the presidential report on what the NFB of Kentucky has done this past year, discuss resolutions, and elect our executive board. We know that you are tired by the time Sunday morning rolls around, but be sure not to miss this very important part of convention.
